Hi. I'm Teddy Stoecklein (pronounced "Steck-line"). I'm into Advertising. And Fine Art. And fine food. And fine wine. Snow. Surf. And using periods. Yep. Hemingway. I'm into a lot of things. But mostly Advertising.

 

I began my career in New York at BBDO as an Art Director, then at McCann and Kaplan Thaler before returning to BBDO as a Creative Director.

I then moved to Maine to raise chitlins and join the VIA Agency. I helped lead the Creative Department as Executive Creative Director, twice winning the coveted Ad Age Small Agency of the Year Award (2012 and 2019). My client list is long. 

​

In 2025, I founded Candy Side, a content production company. I'm also the founder of The Cowboy Yoyo, and I've written and illustrated a book of Pirate Jokes—if that's your thing.

​

I work out of both Portland, Maine, and Brooklyn, NY, but mostly out of my MacBook Pro, at all hours, all the time.
